By the time I’d reached day four of my stay in Rome, I was feeling like I needed to escape the crowds and main tourist sights. I spent the morning wandering the gardens of Villa Borghese and, after an Instagram recommendation, headed for the Jewish Ghetto in the afternoon.
This is one of the most beautiful and authentic neighbourhoods you can visit in Rome, and even though it’s becoming more popular with tourists, it’s still a relatively untouched area.
