Photo Journal: Moulin Huet Bay, Guernsey, Channel Islands

I’ve been exploring the Channel Island of Guernsey for around two months now (when the weather lets me!) and recently took the coastal path from near where I’m staying in Forest to Moulin Huet Bay, on the South Coast of the island.

This was a favourite spot of French Impressionist Renoir, who painted the bay around 15 times when he stayed here in the summer of 1883.

Guernsey really is such a beautiful island and I can’t wait to explore more over the next few months whilst I’m here. If you’re planning a visit to Guernsey and considering walking some of the cliff paths, check out Visit Guernsey and Guernsey Walker for great advice, tips and handy maps of the routes.
