What’s the first thing that springs to mind when you think of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia?
Prior to visiting in June last year, my impression of the city had been largely based on the highly-photographed Petronas Towers – the 451.9m tall, futuristic twin-structures that dominate KL’s skyline. I’d heard it was a great place for shopping (which isn’t really my thing) as well as being home to some delicious street food (definitely more my thing!) – thanks to the city’s diverse mix of Malay, Indian, Chinese and Western cultures.
