After the long bus journey from Baunei, I was more than ready for checking in and chilling out in my room at Hotel Bonsai San Teodoro. After leaving Stirling for Glasgow Airport at 4 am, flying into London and squeezing in as much sightseeing as possible during the day, and then not landing in Sardinia until just before 9 pm, I was absolutely knackered by the time I got to my accommodation in Cagliari. Luckily for me, the B&B I had picked turned out to be like staying at a stylish mate’s house, whose fridge is always full.
